Sidney Steven King is a songwriter/musician-producer/performer-guitarist.
Sidney's love of music began at a very early age, and he shows no signs of letting up, which is evident by the fact that he is a self-taught guitar player, whom over the years has performed and opened shows for various well known national recording artists, and Philadelphia area musicians as well.
Sidney's musical influences come from many genres, such as soul, r&b, pop, fusion jazz, reggae, adult contemporary, and rock & roll. His rock & roll influence is magnified by his 13 years of employment at Philadelphia's powerhouse AOR radio station WMMR 93.3 FM.
As a lead and rhythm guitarist, audiences have raved and complimented Sidney on his smooth and silky soulful guitar styles that range from Santana to George Benson.
Sidney attended Texas Southern University majoring in music, and studying piano under the direction of Houston Symphony Orchestra pianist Charles High. He also studied violin, viola, cello, and upright bass, as well as music education and theory.
Sidney's approach to his music is simple..."Give the people something new with a different taste, and they'll eat it up, then lick the plate clean.
