Sidney Steven King is a songwriter/producer-musician/guitarist-performer
Sidney's love of music began at a very early age, and he shows no signs of letting up, which is evident by the fact that he is a self-taught guitarist, whom over the years has performed and opened shows for various well known recording artists, and has performed with Philadelphia area musicians as well.
His musical influences come from many genres, such as soul, r&b, pop, fusion jazz, reggae, adult contemporary, and rock & roll, where he had the opportunity to be employed for 13 years at Philadelphia's rock & roll giant WMMR 93.3 FM radio.
As a lead and rhythm guitarist, people have raved and complimented Sidney on his smooth and soulful guitar styles that range from Santana to George Benson.
Sidney attended Texas Southern University majoring in music and studying piano under the direction of Houston Symphony Orchestra pianist Charles High, and also studied music education, theory, and studied violin, viola, cello, and upright bass.
Sidney's approach to his music is simple. "Give the people something new with a different taste, and they'll eat it up, then lick the plate clean".
